The Meta- owned App is now working on a new update which will enable its users to check the calls tab on WhatsApp desktop. WhatsApp never fails to impress its users with its new features. It constantly works to add new features to its instant messaging platform. It was very recently that WhatsApp had rolled out the feature to create polls within personal and group chats. The tech giant is now working on this new update of checking the calls tab on WhatsApp desktop. According to the recent reports, this feature has already been rolled out for a few beta users.
The tech giant had rolled out an update for WhatsApp beta which in October. With this new feature, a new app sidebar was available for beta users. The calls log will appear on the sidebar next to Status and Chats list. This makes it easier for the user to scroll through their desired tab on WhatsApp. As per the screenshot shared along with the reports, the new calls tab pops up the moment the app is opened on the desktop.
Once the user clicks on the option, a drop- down page will open. This page will display the user’s call history on the WhatsApp desktop. This sidebar which displays a user’s call history means that WhatsApp will soon allow these users to make phone calls on the platform from their desktop app. Since, the feature is now available only for Beta users, it will not be available for all the WhatsApp users.
